Basic Matting
Students will learn basic matting techniques and should bring a
5"x7" photo to mat. Finished piece will be an 8"x10". The $20.00 fee covers instructions and materials. Maximum 2 students.

Students will learn basic painting techniques. Students must bring watercolor paint and paintbrushes, or purchase supplies at our store. The $20 fee covers instructions and drawing papers for both classes: 11 & 18 September. Part II will be taught 18 September. Ages 6 & up. Max 4 students.

Digital Photography I
Two hours of experimenting with basic camera settings to give more knowledge on megapixels, aperture, shutter speed, and the flash. A $45 fee covers instructions only; Minimum of 2 students is required for this class.

Learn basic framing techniques and bring a matted 5x7 photo (from Matting Class) to frame; finished piece will be an 8x10. A $40 fee covers instructions and materials. Max 2 students.

Digital Photography II
Two hours of instructions cover composition, cropping, "rule of thirds," focal point, natural posing, horizon, raw processing, histogram, white balance, and flash exposure. Students will gain more knowledge to control the outcome of their pictures. A $45 fee covers instructions only. Minimum 2 students is required for this class. Note: Digital Photography I is a prerequisite.

Cross-Island Photography Tour
Join our expert photography instructor, Ms. Ivi,on this exciting and wonderful trip to "Japanese Memorial Park" and "Two Lovers Point." Get professional assistance to make your photos stand out during this tour. $45 fee covers instruction and assistance. Minimum of three (3) peoplerequired to have the tour. Students must provide own transportation to locations but must meet the instructor in front of Arts & Crafts (Bldg. 25006) at 7:15am for departure at 7:30am. Note: Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Digital Photography I or II is a required prerequisite for this tour.
