SEPTEMBER HIKES & SPECIAL EVENTS
Deep Sea Fishing
Saturday, 4 September; 7:00am; $70 per person
Enjoy an excursion for a fun filled day in the sun
and out on the ocean for fishing in the waters
of Guam. Transportation and gear are provided,
but you are welcome to bring your own. Bring
your snorkeling gear for a refreshing dip in the
ocean after fishing. Bring water, towel, and wear
sun-block and a bathing suit. Seating is limited
so sign up early.
Mt. Lam Lam Hike****
Saturday, 11 September; 7:45am; $5 per person
Join us as we climb the highest peak on Guam.
Mt Lam Lam's elevation is 1,332 ft and it boasts
spectacular panoramic views. Be sure to bring
your camera to capture the views of Cocos
Island, Facpi Point, Apra Harbor and Taofofo Bay.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring sunscreen, bug
repellent, plenty of water, and energy snacks.
Ages 12 and up.
Windsurfing Lessons
Saturday, 18 September; 7:45am; $50 per person
Want to learn a new watersport? Take a ride
on the wild side and join the extreme world of
windsurfing. Price includes transportation, gear,
instruction, and an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch.
Please bring proper swim attire, sun-block,
and/or rash guard, water, towel and change of
clothes. Must be able to swim. Seating is limited
to sign up today. Ages 16 and up.
Haputo Hike****
Sunday, 19 September; 7:45am; $5 per person
Enjoy a day of relaxation after a short hike to
one of Guam’s most scenic, historic and pristine
beaches. You can spend your time on the
beach soaking up the sun, or snorkeling and
swimming in the crystal clear waters of the
cove. Located within the jungle situated next to
the beach is an ancient Chamorro village with
the remains of several latte stones. Wear your
swimming attire and bring your snorkel gear,
water, camera, and sunscreen. Ages 5 and up.
Southside Island Tour*
Saturday, 25 September; 7:45am; $10 per person
Enjoy a guided bus tour of the southern portion
of Guam. On this tour we will visit several local
sights with amazing views and historical backgrounds.
A few of the destinations are Ga’an
Beach, where we will see some of the most impressive
remaining Japanese fortifications, and Fort
Nuestra Senora de la Soledad, which was one of
the last Spanish Forts constructed in the 19th
Century. For lunch we will stop by one of Guam
most famous restaurants, Jeff’s Pirate’s Cove. Sign up soon, as this
tour is limited to 22 people. Bring your camera,
water, and money for lunch.
